The NDIS Review highlights critical gaps in services for people with developmental delays and disability. Developmental Disability WA (DDWA) emphasises the urgent need for enhanced interventions and early support for children with developmental delays. The Review underscores the vulnerability of people with developmental delays and associated communication disability, expressing concerns about potential exclusion from the NDIS and lack of alternative support systems.
To support the final NDIS Review report there is a guide for people with disability and their families, which provides information on the topics within the report. Additionally, there is details on the process, information and evidence that informed the final report. There are also fact sheets and frequently asked questions.
