Last month, we came together for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to reflect on the highlights and challenges of the past year. It was a time to celebrate our achievements, especially securing funding for the year ahead. While this is a positive step, we know the journey continues, and securing ongoing support remains a key priority to ensure we can keep supporting our community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the AGM. To share in the social moments from the evening, enjoy the photos and relive the experience with us.

Congratulations to John Hines on his initiative in creating an episode of his Funbeanman podcast called “Please Save DDWA” to encourage people to support DDWA by writing to government ministers. Thank you for your commitment and creativity!

In addition to the AGM, we are excited to announce the appointment of five new Board members: Natasha Russell, Mike Duncan, Kate Grayson, Dr. Natalie Frost, and Peta Kennedy. Their diverse expertise and passion for supporting people with intellectual disabilities will help guide our work in the coming years. We’re excited for the journey ahead with them on board!
