Making information accessible is important for everyone, and that’s what the Introduction to Making Easy Read Documents Workshop is all about.
Our next workshop is Thursday, 4th July 2024, offers a unique opportunity for various professionals, including disability access and inclusion officers, communication experts, and allied health staff, to learn about making Easy Read (and therefore, easy-to-understand) materials.
Why Easy Read?
Easy Read documents simplify language, incorporate images, and organise content to help people understand the content. Easy Reads are designed for people with intellectual disability, but are also useful for people with poor literacy, English as a second language, or those with time constraints. By attending this workshop, participants gain invaluable skills to ensure their organisation’s messages reach a broader audience.
