You are invited to a workshop about
Communication Disability
and your Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP)
Are you involved in developing or implementing a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan for a state government, local government or not-for-profit community organisation? Are you interested in learning how you can better consider the needs of people with communication disability in your DAIP?

Developmental Disability WA (DDWA) invites you to attend this Communication Disability Capacity Building Workshop.
Come along to explore:
- What is a communication disability?
- Who may have a communication disability?
- Is communication disability linked to intellectual disability?
- What about people who lose their ability to talk later in life?
- What access and inclusion supports should be considered within your DAIP for people with a communication disability?
- Who else may benefit when you improve communication access?
What practical strategies can you implement that will improve the way people with communication disability can access your public spaces, services, events and facilities?
