Jaquie Mills from DDWA was recently interviewed on ABC NW-Kimberley radio.
Jaquie was told that her son would never be able to communicate with her. He could and she knew that, and she didn’t stop until she found the best method for him. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (or AAC as it’s better known) changed their worlds. Jaquie told ABC NW-Kimberley she’s trying to make people aware of AAC and write it into an NDIS plan.
