How to Make Easy Read Books

Easy Read materials are documents that use simple language, images and formatting to make information easier to understand for many people in the community.

DDWA has developed a template that can be used as a guide to help you make your own easy read documents.

The template is an example only, and outlines the most commonly used tips that you can follow to create your own materials.

You can use this free editable template as a guide or adapt the template to meet your own needs.

It takes time and practice to learn how to make good easy read documents.  DDWA is currently developing training to support organisations and businesses to get started.
