Each set of conversation cards contains a total of 80 cards to help people with an intellectual disability learn about their rights and talk about what is important to them when making decisions.
These could be used individually, one-on-one, in groups, or in workshops, up to you! People can choose to use one card, one type of card, or the whole set, it us to you!
There are four types of cards for people to explore:
Scenario cards: read a short story about people making different hypothetical decisions. These are to talk about and say what people think.
Question cards: these are questions for people to think about supported decision making.
True or false cards: these are quiz questions, where there is only one answer. These are questions about making decisions or about money.
Money cards: These are scenario, question and true or false cards to help people with an intellectual disability and their supports to think and talk about making money decisions.
